Hugh Jackman is hanging up his PT Barnum top hat and getting ready to go back to school as he eyes up his next leading role.
According to Deadline, Jackman will next star in Bad Education from screenwriter Mike Makowsky, and although there aren't any firm plot details just yet, the film will reportedly be based on Makowsky's high school experience.
Which means we probably shouldn't expect Jack Whitehall's hapless teacher Alfie Wickers to be rocking up at any point.
Far from being a big-screen version of the BBC Three comedy series, this Bad Education will be directed by Thoroughbreds' Cory Finley, with La La Land's Fred Berger and Midnight Special's Brian Kavanaugh-Jones as producers.
Jackman's latest movie, The Greatest Showman, proved itself a crowd-pleasing success following its release at the end of last year, becoming the highest-grossing live action original movie musical in the US (grossing more than La La Land), while its soundtrack album also smashed Adele's chart record in the UK.

But while Jackman seems to be doing alright for himself in Hollywood after hanging up his Wolverine claws for good in last year's Logan, we may still see the hero in action once again as Avengers: Infinity WarNew 2017 songs free download mp3 punjabi. star Sebastian Stan recently teased Jackman is considering a crossover appearance.
'He said a couple of things to me and I'll just leave it at that. Otherwise, I feel like I'm going to get into trouble with somebody,' Stan said.
'I asked him because I kept thinking.. Logan was supposed to be the last Wolverine thing or whatever and he said to me, well I think he publicly said out there, which was like he's been thinking about it and it's been on his mind. So, I don't.. he may be [appearing in an Avengers movie].'
Oh, and before you go worrying too much about Whitehall missing out on his chance at a big Hollywood movie (again, after the Frozen debacle), you should know that the comedian will be starring alongside Dwayne Johnson in Disney's Jungle Cruise film, as well as in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which is due out later this year.
